First aid
The Early Years Foundation Stage requires at least one person with a current paediatric first aid certificate to be on the premises at all times when children are present. [MiniMove first aid cover details to be confirmed]
In an emergency
- We give first aid and call the emergency services when needed.
- We make every reasonable effort to contact you, then your emergency contacts.
- If you can't be reached in time, a member of staff goes with your child to hospital, taking their health details.
Records
We record any accident or injury and any first aid given, and tell you the same day, or as soon as reasonably practicable. The supplied contract asks parents to sign the accident record and to tell us about injuries that happen outside the setting.
